Yes, it bothered me. I'm on the record on these threads having said Bush Jr should have been prosecuted for his team's lies about Iraq WMDs and the trillion of dollars wasted on wars in the Middle East as a result. I didn't just get pissed off. I voted my anger. I voted for Bush Jr in his first term and then turned against him because of Iran and the fake WMDs. So I voted for John Kerry. Then I voted for Obama in his first term, until I realized Obama was a socialist and when it came to wars and coziness with Wall Street was pretty much a continuation of Bush Jr. So I voted for Mitt Romney against Obama. BTW, I'm registered as Unaffiliated/Independent. So you calling me Republican is not accurate. But don't feel bad, the Republicans on this thread call me a Democrat whenever I'm talking about how we need to do something about Climate Change.

zzpat, the issue with your posts is that you use too many absolutes. You say EVERY Republican is corrupt and EVERYTHING they do is corrupt. Children talk in absolutes because they have not experienced enough of the world to realize that absolutes very rarely exist in human relations. The reality is that most people are a mixture of good and bad and they do things that are sometimes noble and sometimes shockingly bad. Not all Republicans are bad people and neither are Democrats.

If you want to be taken seriously, then you should realize that just because someone has a different solution to a problem from what you think is correct, that doesn't make the person evil and it may not even make them wrong. If you believe you are always right, then you are at risk of being perceived as very arrogant.

I've agreed with some of your posts, but most of them are so cloaked in absolutes and vitriol that it's hard to find both your opinion and the facts that might be a basis for them. You need to balance out your thoughts a bit more and get rid of the ad hominems. They detract from your positions.
