Michael Murphy's Calif Tech Stock Newsletter may present a good list of short stock possibilities. His tech stock recommendations got hammered on Friday. Here are the highlights (lowlights): ATML -7.25% ADSK -7.56% CY -6.94% EXBT -8.02% IVAC -12.05% LSI -6.74% MACR -7.01% PRMS -10.87% QKTN -8.00% QNTM -10.06% STMD -14.81% I thought I was doing well with my short choices, but compared to some of Murphy's long choices, my shorts look sick. I'm not at all sure what is causing this meltdown in his choices, but it's noteworthy. Is anybody shorting any of these stocks? From a first look, PRMS looks like a possible short. Chart shows a rounded top. P/S=7.5, P/E=70 and declining revenues. Any reason not to short?
