I think we have never tried market solutions to healthcare in the US, which is why our system is failing right now. The more it fails, the more people want a government solution. The more government involvement, the more it fails. We're in a race to the bottom. Fortunately, we have the titans of industry that are thinking exactly like I am...that it is time for some market solutions. That is why we are seeing Bezos, Buffet, and Diamond get together to start the process of providing a market solution to get prices down. That is where the innovation is going to come from: the free market. Not from government, where we either have self-interested politicians implementing their best version of fascism or crony-capitalism. ------------ The Amazon Healthcare Threat Has Arrived If the Berkshire/JPMorgan venture is as ambitious as it seems, incumbents are in trouble.
