Any time you reduce taxes on PROFITS, it reduces the reinvestment of that money into things like capital projects, employment, etc. (these things are deductible expenses that would reduce taxable profit). Instead shareholders see the benefits in that money going into higher dividends. You could argue that business was cash starved and tRump has come to the rescue. There was never any shortage of capital in corporations. Even so, I don't buy that this'll result in movement of capital back into the USA. There are many reasons companies have offshore operations, including manufacturing in the local market to suit local regulations, consumer demand etc..

tRump loves taxes in the form of tariffs. These are destructive and protectionist. Ultimately they'll harm US companies as they become less and less competitive because of the protection. He's doing harm to the US solar industry with the recent 30% tariff.
