Dunae:

I could not have said it any better! Thank you for the great observation and remark/question you made to Dipy! I have a cousin who for the past 5 years stayed out of the stock market, and now he is just enjoying and has a big smile that the market has run into a temporary blip! Just tonight he was telling me when the DOW hits 2500 he would come and visit me to see how I am hanging on! And he was laughing at me for being fully invested for the past 5 years and now suffering (especially since I am 100% invested in the tech stocks). I kind of a ignored him because I have always believed arguing with an idiot benefits no one! I did not want to tell him that eventhough my portfolio is suffering a bit, over all from the past 5 years the losses of past 4 months does not even come close to 10% of the gains I have had for the past 5-6 years! I just told him what I have always believed in that those who stay out of the market while the market is going up end up losing a lot more than those who stay in the market while the market is going down! His reply was just a wise-a* smile and saying "Well, maybe! But for now I am not the one who is losing!" And I said to myself, why the heck I am trying to argue over this with an idiot! Oh well... He is a close family and a dear one too.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
