Of course the rebellion against Huawei and ZTE products is growing exponentially. Who wants to pay to install Chinese spyware into their company or government.

Not much Huawei or ZTE product is sold outside China when it is not part of a Chinese subsidized "gift". But even these "gift" recipients have a better understanding now.

A number of years ago even I bought a 100 € Huawei phone in Europe, but not now.

Certainly the poorest consumers won't care unless their government does. The problem is one compromised Huawei or ZTE phone or other tech can be called on to compromise banking systems and other critical infrastructure.
