LOL...yes, well I have kept my regular taxable acct clear of the drillers after coming very close to getting my hair singed off. Somebody must have forgot to yell "Fire in the hole! -GG- So I have "sat in the bleachers" since then for my regular acct. I don't know why I am so careless with my IRA..I think it's because the first stock I ever bought with the IRA was CPQ, and it did well just by leaving it alone...ie ignoring the dips and just keeping up with the fundamentals. That and the money is unavailable to spend anyway, so why sweat it too much.

DK

PS - FWIW, Bob Brinker (national radio investment talk show) today predicted boldly that the DJIA will be at new highs (minimum target) by end of Feb or March. He also is calling the general stock market a "buy" anytime the DJIA is below 7500...The last time Bob Brinker called the general market a "buy" was last April - so he doesn't make such calls at every whim that strikes him. This Bob Brinker was right on the money with his market calls last Spring -- And his audience is huge.
