Unfortunately, he never recommended selling the Puts until the expiration date. The model portfolio and subscribers took a pretty good loss (me included).

Last year, I lost BIG money on IFMX, DIMD, the S&P Puts, Xoma, INSV, RDRT, and SEG. Made BIG money on CMOS and PRMS. Have decided that Xoma will make/break my relationship with CTSL. Stock does well in 1998 - I'll continue to subscribe. He has a very good long term record - hoping 1997 was just a bad year for him.

Think Murphy would benefit by firing his disk drive sector analyst and hiring a chartist/technician! Seems to get in too early and out too late.
