Afterwards, Wray issued the FBI’s objection to release of the Majority memo.
I don't believe there is any evidence out there as to that claim.

All news outlets yesterday were claiming the "FBI" objected to the release of the memo. There was no evidence of this claim at the FBI website.

Then as this was gathering steam, all of a sudden late afternoon yesterday, a press release did finally show up on the FBI website stating their objection, with no attribution as to who wrote the press release.

Inquiring minds would like to know the author of this press release.

FBI Statement on HPSCI Memo

The FBI takes seriously its obligations to the FISA Court and its compliance with procedures overseen by career professionals in the Department of Justice and the FBI. We are committed to working with the appropriate oversight entities to ensure the continuing integrity of the FISA process.

With regard to the House Intelligence Committee’s memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it. As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.
