The CPTAQ exemption was supposed to be an easy win and a first step. If the idea is indefinietly killed in this stage for the next 2-3 years at least, what hope is there for the following steps of approval? If you trip and fall at the first, lowest hurdle, you have no hope of succeeding. 2) Nobody in the area would ever support the Mine because it is a stupid idea and their is no gains (50 jobs and tax revenue is chump change and peanuts, even for a broke municipality. There is no conceivable scenario where the locals will be convinced to support the Mine) 3) There will never be any lawsuits. No court in Quebec gives a shit about what a "mining" (read: scam) company from BC thinks it does or doesn't deserve, nor what its clueless white trash investors think it's "rights" are 4) The Chief will never regain his credibility or investment (look at his flailings today. "Welll ummmma go down there to GSLR and get someone to swear on a stack of bibles because she wrote something on the internets that ain't true!" - so much ignornant babyboomerisms there where do I begin? The fact that he believes the bible means anything? Or the fact that he thinks facebook posts matter and are held to some standard? 5) Nuclear Crystals will never regain his credibility or investment (the list is very long of how many people he thinks are going to be "taken to court" - none will) These people are pathetic. CCB talk has descended to a bunch of grown men (far past their prime) discussing like teenage girls over who said what on Facebook. You'd think these people would at least try to salvage the shreds that are left of their dignity, considering they'll never be able to salvage their investment. "The mine got cancelled for POLTICAL REASONS!!!" - are they serious? What political reasons? Being a municipal councillor for GSLR is a position that pays like $5K a year and only a fool would believe it is some kind of stepping stone to bigger and better political futures. It is an entirely symbolic and powerless position that is 90% pothole filling. The other 10% is standing in the way of potbellied losers and their asinine, failed-from-inception, get rich quick schemes.
