Hannity Pushes Back Against Report That He’s In Trump’s Ear (Or Any Other Trump Body Part)

Posted at 8:45 am on February 2, 2018 by Susan Wright

I’m not sure why he’s objecting, when it’s apparently a known thing that President Trump gets his ego stroked by Fox News daily, often immediately regurgitating onto Twitter what he’s just seen on one of their programs.

Trump is fed thoughts. His ego is fragile and he needs adoration to survive. Those who give him that adoration and “loyalty” can manipulate him as easily as if he were clay.

“Malleable” is the word Jimmy Carter used for him.

So of course he’s listening to Hannity, who has taken cult adoration of a man to levels not seen since Jonestown.

And Hannity listens to Julian Assange, who listens to the Kremlin…

But back on point, Hannity is huffing and puffing over a Daily Beast report that says he has been advising Trump on the status of the Devin Nunes memo.

In his denial, he tweeted out a link to the Daily Beast article.

A total lie, Fake news. Phony “anonymous sources”. Amazing how the left wing media just makes Sh&)(: up. t.co

That’s all well and good, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility, and the recent revelation of Hannity’s “secure channels” communications with Assange should label him not only dishonest and a complete hypocrite, but as the worse kind of power-mad partisan.

In other words, 3 anonymous sources are far more trustworthy than Sean Hannity.

The Justice Department and FBI have warned against releasing the memo in its current state, saying, basically, it’s a sloppy compilation of wrong information and omissions of key details.

It was crafted by a hard Trump partisan for the purpose of damaging the DOJ and FBI, while also paving a way to get Trump and his team off the hook in the Russia probe.

“It’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counterintelligence investigation during an American political campaign. Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again,” Nunes said.

Except if you gave your partisan version of information with no evidentiary backing, then it’s not like the truth is getting out.

Quite the opposite, actually.

It’s unlikely there will be anything earth-shaking in the memo. This is more the fevered hopes of Trump’s devotees, and a concern to those of us who know the ultimate goal is to bring down any barriers to Trump’s dream of authoritarian rule. Right now, the DOJ and FBI pose a legal firewall to that end.

Seeing the bigger picture is what makes it easier to blow off Hannity’s protests. He’s just not trustworthy.
