Reading the last release from Elmer. One can rest assured nothing will happen "SOON" $800 k budget, just 300 k over the minimum. Not all will necessarily spent. Some desk studies and permitting for future on site road work and a few more holes in the ground, which is has no planned time line. Simply adding another $200 k next year could cover the mandatory spending for both years. Like they did previously.

Desk studies, The collection of environmental baseline data will continue in 2018. External consultants will be used to complete the majority of this work.
Permitting/Social:

The Multi-Year Area Based Permit (“MYAB”) has been filed with the Ministry of Mines for British Columbia. The main activities covered pursuant to the Permit include approval for up to 50 diamond drill holes, 5 kms of new drill road and 20 kms of line cutting; none of which are planned at this stage. The 2018 program also includes ongoing consultation with the Tahltan First Nations on social and cultural matters.

The $800 k is not near sufficient to cover the proposed work sighted. Added to these work expenses will be transportation to and from where workers live, Flights in and out of Shaft creek, for fuel, Personal, Camp and food supplies plus cook and flunkies to look after the crew. with the NDP/Green in power in BC permitting could be more difficult to attain.

They denied permits for the Ajax project in Kamloops after 7 years of work and a hundred million $ spent. Canceling the Kinder Morgan line and even about to put in place curbs on rail shipments of oil going through the province from Alberta destined for Off shore markets. Environment was stated in all cases.

Alaskans and coastal Native groups & people have long raised concerns about what big mines in their watersheds could do down stream. Right up the greens ally.

Any way it appear they have pushed it at least another 5 to ten years down the road. Different view out there ?
