Lerxst, Yes, initial setup is on the router blade then the forwarding table entry is downloaded to the supervisory engine on the 5500/5000. Of course the lookup is somewhat longer since we now must match past the MAC layer into the protocol addressing. Glad we can agree on the technical - there is WAY to much marketing hype floating around. John
