We can't do much by ourselves, but there's only one rather insignificant country which isn't in the Paris agreement, so we have lots of help.
No we don't have a lot of "help." The Paris agreement gives most of the developing world a pass, especially China and India who now produce far more CO2 emissions than America.

The goalposts, of course, have now shifted toward "emissions per capita," because you know, it's OK to spew a ton of CO2 as long as you can point to some richer nation that is spewing more than their "fair share."

That's what climate change politics has turned into. Another wealth redistribution scheme. Even young liberals today think that the climate will stop changing once everyone is equal.
