Today's edition of crackpot theories from frantic and panicky CCB investors

1) Canada Carbon didn't know about the CPTAQ decision until February 7 and that's why there was no news released until Feb. 8, with trading resuming shortly after
Common sense: What's this guy smoking? Anyone on this planet could have gone to the CPTAQ website as of January 27 and read that the file had been suspended/closed indefinitely. Most of us here did just that.
And also, CCB was clearly aware of the CPTAQ decision in January, because that's when they requested the halt.
If they supposedly didn't "officially" hear until February 7th, that means they halted their stock for over a week prior simply due to rumours?
Assessment: 100% BS. If they were waiting for "official" word from the CPTAQ, which they supposedly only received on Feb 7th, then they were either asleep at the switch for the >1 week prior when the decision was publicly available, or, halting their stock based on a decision that they considered "unofficial" (despite being posted to the CPTAQ website and widely known to investors and GSLR residents alike)

2) It's all the regulator's fault and they were the ones who forced the halt, and made it go on for so long. Because the regulators are actually on CCB's side and are doing everything they can to make sure that CCB remains healthy and the Miller mine goes ahead.
Common sense: On what planet would a financial regulator give two shits about a hemorrhaging-money long con that has a shaky claim on a mine that will likely never proceed, intervene on the con's behalf, or even take the time to look up where on the map Grenville Sur La Rouge is (let alone assess the conduct of a bunch of townies in a semi-volunteer government gig)
Assessment: 100% BS, but with a caveat that it's pretty sad when people have to make up fairy tale scenarios, say that's what "pretty obviously" happened, and then actually opine on the unprecedented nature of their own fantasy. But I suppose it's less surprising for someone who bought Magic Beans in the first place.
"I bet the regulators are on CCB's side and are working on their behalf. Wow! What an unprecedented scenario. I've never seen regulators do that before and my made up predictive scenario is pretty indicative that the regulators are on CCB's side"
"It's pretty obvious that Santa Claus has rockets installed to his sled. Wow! I've never witnessed rockets on a sled before and it is pretty indicative that Santa is stepping up his game"
Sure, NC. The only reason people can't see the clothes is because they're not savvy or informed enough.
It's ok. Some nice men will be coming to pick you up shortly and put you in a room where the padded walls will provide you comfort as you concoct more zany theories about who's suing whom and regulators working with mines against corrupt provincial authorities working in cahoots with nobody councillors. |
