May the Lord richly bless you with financial freedom this year.
I have been taking some acute losses lately, to be perfectly honest with you; but the Lord has given me a free spirit about it ; no trouble sleeping. My strength is in the joy of the Lord. JOY-- Jesus first, others second, yourself last. Don't feel sorry for me I am definitely not poor.
What I have in Christ, came very dear to God, I realize that I live by grace. Nothing I can possibly say or do , through works or deeds can earn anything from God. If we could earn blessings from God then Romans 4:4 " Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace but of debt".; would mean we would owe God for our blessings, in the same way that an employer would owe an employee his wages at the end of the week.
If Christians feel that because of their blessings they are in debt to God then there would be no end to the extreme they could go to repay God for blessings- i.e. pray,study,teach,sing,give,heal, any gift of God.
If in fact this is a Jubilee year, (the nation Israel was reestablished in 1948)then 1948 + 50 = 1998. It is my sincere hope and desire that a lot of debt is cancelled this year, look at our own country, uncle Sam will run a surplus this year. When God is in the cancelling frame of mind then His people should get on the band wagon, and partake of His bounty.
So, may all of God's people and even those that are not, any lurkers on this thread that are not Christians, God wants to cancell your debts this year, your sins, and all the baggage that goes along with not living in the will of God for your life..
Bobby, I know I will get some response to some of the statements I have made to you. But keep on lurking, every bit of help I can get is appreciated. I will admit I am somewhat controversial at times but some people have to be stirred up at times just to get them off their status quo. In Christ.gregor |
