Brian,

If "the ship is likely to sink" while:

inflation is almost nonexistent;

a situation of more than "full" employment exists;

the GDP (and earnings) continues to grow;

money is flowing into the market;

the traditional alternatives (bonds, real estate) offer dismal return prospects; and,

equities are at or approaching their lows for P/Es, PSRs, P/Book, etc;

I would probably resemble a Titanic passenger and be one of the last ones heading for the lifeboats.

Bear-ons is notorious for finding a bearish slant for nearly every situation.
