I'm proposing that thoughtful people sit down and develop approaches to dealing with the issues. The same way other problems are solved, like Elon Musk figuring out a way to make 4,000 satellite launches feasible or Djikstra created the algorithm that bears his name.

The TSA is, in many ways, an example of how not to do things. Yet, it has increased airline safety for nearly 20 years, and that's not nothing.

As a nation, we have a history of solving problems and we can solve the mass shooting problem.

But collecting up guns is stupid on its face and obviously does not lead, in any reasonable time frame, to a solution. Even if you could find a way past the Constitution, which is essentially impossible for the reasonable future.
