Qualcomm rejected Broadcom’s latest offer to buy the company for $82 a share in cash and stock saying the current offer has an unacceptably high level of risk and materially undervalues the company, Bloomberg News reports.

[This saga reminds me of Samsung's attempt to takeover Sandisk back in 2008. Wall Street screamed at Sandisk for not accepting the bid. Seven years or so later, they were taken out by WDC for around 4x Samsung's bid.]
