Guns are not the problem - but our society is increasingly the problem and it is getting worse fast. The mindset from the top down starting with Trump is one of the saddest changes I've witnessed in my life. Anyone who really thinks that Trump does not encourage hatred and division in our society is just off their rocker. When the President constantly lies with impunity and clearly pushes the race issue what should we expect but increasing senseless violence. Guns are not the problem - but the thinking that allows big magazine guns that are meant for only one purpose - to kill mass numbers of people fast is. That a 19 year old in high school should be allowed to buy this kind of a gun is nuts! ........... To blame it on mental health is pathetic rationalizing of our real problem.
