Yeah, it's actually quite hilarious. Russia has meddled in our elections for years. The US has meddled in Russian elections and countries' all over the world for decades. This indictment is necessary and I'm glad they are doing it, but it is also just a giant circus. The public nature of it is intended to try to conflate the issue of Russian meddling with the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with Russia. But those are two separate issues. The proving the first does not prove the second. But the political theater is designed to encourage the conflation of those issues in the public mind in order to enable a soft coup against Trump. It's diabolical and pretty canny. I'd have to admire it, if I wasn't so disgusted at the naked destruction of our Democratic institutions by these people who are bound and determined to overturn a Democratically elected US President, innocent of the allegations against him. I find it disgusting that they whitewash Hillary's very real crimes and then cook up nonsense against Trump.
