Gotcha. See your point.

My concern on these shootings is that we lose focus on the problem instantly and never come close to any real ideas. Maybe a Simpson-Bowles styled investigation. Just because it didn't work last time doesn't mean these committees can never work.

I just read on FB one of my friends saying, "Where is the outrage against the drug companies? Almost every one of these (mentally ill) shooters is on some kind of meds for mental illness!"
