I had a bunch of short put positions in 2008 / 2009. I was so busy working on a merger and everything got assigned. Most have turned out really well like MMM, UTX, GWW, LOW etc. I kept rolling my short puts on BA starting when it was sub $100. Would have been batter off taking a few assignments when it dipped as opposed to rolling.
