FEF said today that natural gas flows from its Mangahewa-2 well in New Zealand's North Island will be gradually increased to 20 million scfm.

The well had been flowing at 13.5 million CFD in the late December to early January period, but was shut-in on Jan. 6 to allow installation of pressure relief valves. 'The well is flowing again and the rate will gradually increased to 20 million cubic feet a day,' Fletcher Energy said in a well report.

In additional to natural gas flows, the well was producing 20 and 200 barrels of water and condensate a day, respectively. FEG said the gas is being exported to the gas-to-gasoline petrochemical plants located nearby.
