I do believe it is certain that guns are not the root of the problem, and if you mask the problem by blaming guns, you just set the stage for other modalities.
I remember the 80's very well......my kids were in school then....and it was no rite of passage around here. My was raised in PA where 1st day of hunting season was a religious holiday...and they didn't carry guns on buses ...

Of course you don't......conservatives traditionally have to have an enemy and therefore guns are a very big part of your lives.....you are frightened people....

If the primary problem is not the instrument that does the killing why does the rest of the civilized world not have such a problem.....why does NY State and indeed NY City have such a low crime and gun crime rate???? Remember we have black people, immigrants and even a lot of illegal immigrants...
