I don't know much about school buses since I never really rode them and neither did my kids. But I never heard of anyone having an issue with teenaged kids having their hunting rifles in their vehicles until my kids were in school. And I had no issue with it.

Times have changed. Kids don't need to have to guns today because they have no respect for human life.

Again, it isn't the gun that causes the problem. We need to find out the cause of the problem.

It would be great if 12 year olds could be trusted with a shotgun to go hunting again. Even though I never hunted as an adult those were fun times for me growing up and I did learn how to competently handle a weapon.
