After this week, it sure looks more likely that the bulls will roar back for a while than the other way... BUT 2 of the last 5 days have had very small gains, and one of my indicators (VXO minus VIX) is still flashing high risk. And then there's this chart from a borker friend in Toronto: I'm pretty much only a futures trader (no individual stocks), usually with substantial leverage, and the risk/reward just doesn't seem to be there on either side for US stocks... yet. As I've been known to remind myself sometimes ("Patience Grasshopper"), but good luck and godspeed to your thoughts & signals! That same borker friend in Toronto was a USDX bull a while back and was expecting at least 1.15 but we had a bet that it would reverse around 1.03 and then have a number of pauses or small reverses until hitting .90 and then go into a trading range and I'm watching for a breakout. Time will tell...
