The two major factors running our civilization today, as I see it, are Economics and race.
I think you may find that living in a 4 seasons environment for centuries is probably more important than "race".
It makes sense. Having to prepare for 3-6 months of freezing cold winter requires greater intelligence than living in 12 months per year sunshine and just fishing, and raising sheep and chickens in the warm weather.
I think it's probably just a coincidence that there are no cold weather black people.
Compare Northern and Southern Europe. Who's industrious, hard working and successful - cold weather German, British and Scandanavians, or warm weather Spanish, Italians and Greeks?
Compare highly successful Asians - cold weather Northern China, Japan, Korea with much less successful Asians - warm Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, etc.
Compare cold weather China with warm weather Southern India. India produces plenty of genius super stars, it would be interesting to learn if they generally come from the cold weather North India or the hot as hell Southern India.
You can't measure weather patterns in geography of origin like you can skin color, but all of your critique of people's IQ and violence level maps better into equatorial region (bad) versus Northern Hemisphere (good) than it does into skin color - particularly with Asians.
Look at success across the planet in modern time - USA, England, Germany, Russia, Japan and now China/Korea. All up close to the North Pole rather than down near the equator. Look at failure - anything near the equator.
How can you say it's due to skin color rather than what you would just call 'lack of exposure to a winter climate' for many centuries?
Conclusion - snow is good. |
