Oh ya forgot one of our other first explorations with the Instant Pot, it makes really good ribs:

If your meat needs browning / searing that would be another finishing step on the BBQ or in the oven as in the above recipe.

My sister did a small turkey in her IP, had to cram it in and barely fit but the results were apparently very good. Also she texted me a photo of her first IP recipe - pesto olive chicken on brown rice vermicelli. Her new husband is apparently impressed by her cooking skills and what comes out of the Instant Pot.

Instant Pot is great for just about anybody. Small families, single people, newlyweds, whoever. Especially recommend for anybody willing to venture out and learning to cook.... recently widowed or divorced too.

I bought some chick peas to try but haven't settled on a recipe yet.
