The phrase climate change is leftist speak for… the weather. As in: “Everyone talks about the weather but no one does anything about it.” This latest leftist hysteria is an elaborate ruse to grow government and impose mountains of new regulations and ever heavier taxes on the American people. Does anyone remember Paul Ehrlich’s 1968 “Population Bomb” hysteria? All of Ehrlich’s doomsday prediction proved false. The world is not in the grip of mass starvation because of overpopulation. But Ehrlich was on every talk show, the subject of thousands of articles, a dopey doomsday prophet of the left. The latest global freezing/global warming—of course they finally settled on climate change—is just more nonsense. Predicting climate temperatures isn’t science — it’s science fiction. Emeritus Professor of Physics at Princeton University Will Happer explains.
