Hub Wars: MWC, 5G, CBRS, IoT home integration, Arris' Ruckus makes a ruckus Sequans and VZW get an early start, and Ruckus confirms the strategy before MWC. Recall our general disappointment with the new VZW SmartHub using Sequans for LTE-A when it included WiFi, Bluetooth and Z-Wave/NEST but not CBRS. I posted the question about a software upgrade unlocking the 3.5Ghz band since the Sequans chip is already certified on 3.5Ghz - all it needed was the hardware antenna capability or an external port to plug in the needed antenna as so many other modems and routers also have external antenna ports.
