It would be nice if could you first explain which are rights everyone has that have been trumped by gun owners.

This has been true throughout history and probably less in modern times than past times.

You may not have noticed but people are armed (300m+ guns). The proposal is to allow responsible gun owners to carry in settings where people are vulnerable to attack. >>>"That is insane."<<< You are welcome to your way of thinking.
