LOL. I read that earlier today and gave it some thought, I figure the vast majority of Network Hardware makers could say the same thing.

Substitute any company name in place of Zoom:

Many Zoom products come bundled with various types of application software. Zoom does not alter this software in any way
related to the date. While it is possible that some of this software may be adversely affected by the year 2000, Zoom is not
aware of any bundled software having this problem. Zoom does not make any representations that this software is year 2000
compliant. Interested parties should contact the manufacturers of the software directly for further information.

They start out in the beginning of the release saying:

today announced that its hardware
is safe for the transition to the year 2000.

Then they say further down:

While it is possible that some of this software may be adversely affected by the year 2000, Zoom is not
aware of any bundled software having this problem. Zoom does not make any representations that this software is year 2000
compliant. Interested parties should contact the manufacturers of the software directly for further information.

Typical Zoom management style...baffle them with bullshit.

If you want to test for the year 2000 problem on your PC just set the clock to 11:59pm 1999 and wait one minute, then keep using it...the problem will show up. I wonder if Frank Manning has thought of that. <G>

I've never heard of the Y2K problem being a hardware issue, only a software problem. Do you know of a hardware fix for this problem? <GG>
