As I said on another thread:

You have just made a case for false equivalency. This is something the right wing does all the time, especially when they are so wrong they cannot defend their positions e.g. Trumps behavior and policies.

If you fact check claims made on MSNBC and FOX you will find FOX lies, misrepresents the truth and engages in illogical behavior much much more than MSNBC.

That is why only 6% of Scientists are Republican and 81% lean Democratic and 51% are liberals. PEW poll.

Scientists are trained in facts and logic.

It is night and day. I think everyone sees the same problems, but the approach to solving them are completely different. There's too much daylight between the parties and not enough common ground. Part of the reason is that the parties are so focused on driving a wedge between each other. Identity Politics, Social Justice Warriors, White Male bashing, and Snowflake Victim Mentality doesn't help either, as those things are all just fuel for the fires of hatred and revenge, rather than reconciliation and progress.

E Pluribus Unum was intended to inspire us to seek common ground, not to divide and conquer through identity triangulation, victimization, and exploitation of passions to inflame one against another.
