if i understand the trump he wants to put guns into responsible teachers' hand, and nukes w/ responsible sovereigns, to enable democracy of weapons

of course it is difficult to ascertain responsible folks remaining responsible

but in an arena where all carry concealed weapons, reasonable, for adjusting for population density, the old west was probably a lot safer than new west today - a guess
