At the end of the day I went short @ 947.20 and covered @ 945.50 for 1.70 pts. I went short because the market was at an extreme after jumping up quickly, and then I saw it begin to stall. It was a little dangerous to do, but I thought the market might remain a little cautious with earnings coming out starting tomorrow.

I sold my MIND for 1.125 pts (a decent amount of it).

I also sold some more of my regular stock holdings as I felt I still might have too much. I think tonight would be a great day to go long on a foreign market index. I'm going to start looking into that. I'm also wondering if it wouldn't be worth paying the extra money for a bloomberg quotes system (very expensive). Maybe I could try it for a month and if it doesn't make me money, then I could stop it.

So far, everytime I've made an s&p trade this year, I've documented it here.

Take care !
