Hi Rob-- if I may jump in here (please don't let me hinder anyone else from responding to the same inquiry; I too would like to hear from others). In Nov., I posted to this thread Ashton's initial "Chain of Discovery" for comparison (around post #1133), in anticipation of the drilling back then! Well, looks like we're finally there, 'course I await MEO's NR that they ARE drilling. Five further drill holes on the company's drill program in Alberta have intersected kimberlites. The five recent holes were drilled on two new kimberlite pipes, bringing to seven the number of pipes found so far within an area of 100 sq km.... Indicator minerals such as chromite, eclogitic pyrope garnets and peridotitic pyrope garnets have been positively identified in core samples.

An additional four kimberlites have been discovered on the Buffalo Hills property
in Alberta, bringing to 11 the total number of pipes found by Ashton in its winter drilling program. All 11 kimberlites are interpreted to represent separate pipes... A complete set of petrological and analytical results from all kimberlites recently drilled is not anticipated for several months.

Ashton Finds Diamonds in Alberta Kimberlites
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--John S. Auston, President and CEO of Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. is pleased to report that the first analytical results from the Buffalo Hills kimberlites to date indicate generally favourable mantle chemistry for diamonds and preliminary results of caustic dissolution analyses show that one of the three pipes tested so far has a significant content of micro- diamonds and macro-diamonds....
The first micro-diamond analyses of kimberlites K2, K4 and K14 have recently been received from Ashton Mining Limited's laboratory in Perth, Australia. Results confirm that each of these pipes is diamondiferous. Kimberlites K2 and K4 returned very low diamond counts while kimberlite K14 returned significant numbers of both micro-diamonds and macro-diamonds. The results from K14 have been confirmed by analysis at Ashton's own laboratories in North Vancouver, using the recently expanded micro-diamond processing facility.
