Aaron Cooperband. Re: "Inside Intel." I Read the book. When the author focuses on the business issues such as the Pentium flaw and the factors that made INtel successful he is good. But he spends too much time on tattle tales.

In particular, he gets after Intel on how they protect their proprietary knowledge against individuals who want to use knowledge gained at Intel to set up their own businesses. As a stockholder, I think Intel's aggressiveness is appropriate to protect our property. Perhaps this is my bias, but I don't have much patience with bleeding hearts.

Intel is in a tough ruthless business. How they scrambled to "the top of the greasy pole" makes for a fascinating story, but it has not been written yet.

OTOH, the Time magazine profile of Andy Grove (Man of the Year) was worth reading.
