I am absolutely not saying to just let Russia meddle. As I stated in my last post, all of our security orgs have the money and existing authority to act in their cyber security programs. If they are not acting, then they are playing politics. We already know the FBI is biased against Trump. This is all just grand standing and another demonstration of incompetence.

The security orgs. leaders asking for Trump authorization is like your son having to ask you whether or not he can brush his teeth in the morning. If my son asked me that, I'd say, "What the hell? You haven't already been brushing your teeth every morning? Exactly how many obvious things have you not been doing? Aren't you adult enough to make the small decisions yourself? You certainly have the power and resources to do the right things, so get to it."

As to circumstantial evidence that Trump is protecting Russia, that is poppycock. There has been zero evidence that he colluded. In fact, there is more evidence that Obama colluded. Do you remember Obama's famous hot mike statement to President Medvedev right before Putin took over again? Snopes verified this as FACT:
As he was leaning toward Medvedev in Seoul, Obama was overheard asking for time — “particularly with missile defense” — until he is in a better position politically to resolve such issues.“I understand your message about space,” replied Medvedev, who will hand over the presidency to Putin in May. “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term.“I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” said Medvedev, Putin’s protégé and long considered number two in Moscow’s power structure. The exchange, parts of it inaudible, was monitored by a White House pool of television journalists as well as Russian reporters listening live from their press center.
So if you are truly outraged about collusion, what about Obama's collusion to fold the field on Eastern Europe in favor of Russia, who was already a known aggressor after their takeover of Crimea? So you are speculating about Trump with no evidence, but we have smoking gun evidence of collusion with Russia by Obama. This is why I just don't believe your faux outrage. It smacks of bias and lacks perspective.
