The first order of business has to be to protect the country, whatever the cost!

The billion would go to the FBI, CIA and our intelligence agencies. Not defense. Where did you get that? And it should not matter what else is going on!

It doesn't matter what else is happening and what Pelosi is doing. How did she come into it? It should be Trump and the Republicans insisting on it! They are in power.

We need to defend against Russia and it is crazy talk to think otherwise.

How does that not make sense?

You cannot just say because we spend ungodly amounts on defense we should not appropriate money for cyber counter programs. The first order of business it to address the present threat.

Your arguments sound like they come straight from FOX news. I hear that type of illogical thinking there all the time.

I'm with you on the wasted money on defense. I think it is a travesty that we spend $700B on budgeted defense last year with another $200-300B on unbudgeted "emergency appropriations" and then Trump signs a bill for another $117B this year. The military does not need more money. They don't need it for Russian meddling either. What they need to do is optimize and prioritize like we do in business. So we are agreed on no more money for the military, but you are inconsistent. You agree with me there, but then you go on to say you agree with Pelosi's request for another $1B for Russian meddling. They already have $1 trillion a year. WTF do they need another $1B for? It is you who make no sense to me. Be consistent.
