Then maybe the people who would shoot inside the school, instead shoot up the security line. Not saying it couldn't be useful, but it doesn't fit the title of "How we can eliminate school shootings".

Reinforce Doors, Windows, Buses, Locks:

That should help more than it hurts, but in some cases won't make a difference and in some specific cases could result in a higher death total (say a sniper could have taken out the shooting but the reinforced window protects the shooter). Still probably a good idea. You do have to consider the costs, but its not like every school would replace all these things tomorow, it would happen over time which would make the costs more reasonable.

Not as sure about armored buses, that sounds more expensive, and also buses don't usually seem to be the target (although if schools themselves became tougher targets that possibly might shift attention to buses).
