Nate does have a good record. It may surprise you to know that I have followed Nate's career and his blogs since prior to the Obama election. I relied heavily on his analysis to come to my own conclusions that Obama was going to win. Back then, he was extremely accurate. Recently, he election predictions have not been so accurate and it has to do with his methodology changing over time.

As to my posts reading like Fox News, I'm sure they do because you don't like what I'm saying, so you choose not to believe it. It is a pretty typical human response. We all like our echo chambers. I'm not worried, because our political leaders are so f__ed up, I'm sure there will come a day that I'll be back on the Dems side again, and then you and I will be on the same side again. But that might be awhile, because the Dems have moved VERY far left since the early days of the Obama Presidency. I think there is a level of hysteria to their messages and they tend to give way too much focus to the 10% of the population that is downtrodden and disaffected and who are part of the string of letters that seems to grow with each passing day (LGBTQ at last count), instead of focusing on the 90% of fairly mainstream Americans who are wondering why their voices are being drowned out by the 10%. That is why Trump won. The Dems have triangulated themselves into a minority party and lost their core voters through picking dislikable, criminals like Hillary, whom no one under the age of 40 will ever get behind. The Dems need some serious soul searching and a return to the party of the majority. As things stand now, the Dems are a long way from rising above their own self-immolation.

That's not to say that the GOP is any better off. The GOP is a walking dead party too. The only difference is they have Trump, and let me tell you, as much as you hate him, many, many of his followers love him in equal proportion. If the election were held today, he'd get re-elected hands down and it would of course come as a shock to the Dems. What happened? They would say, just like Hillary did. It's not rocket science.

You guys should take Oprah more seriously. She has star power. My mom, a blood red conservative, likes Oprah. Go figure. She may be the one for the Dems. All the rest are basically dead on arrival as far as I can tell.
