Zebra 365: I have approx. 12 US patents in various stages of the patent process.I have never seen or heard of a patent examiner giving an opinion on the patentability of an invention except in a formal office action or in a final opinion.Possibly I misunderstood the announcement but it sounded as if an examiner told the company all claims would be allowed.I can assure you this is never done informally. This should have been reported as a 1st office action or an actual granting of the patent.I'm very skeptical of the wording of this press release.
I would like to see what prior art they descibed in the application, and what their claims actually are.The scope may be so narrow as to provide very limited protection or none at all.The chance they will recieve protection for a trnsurethral application of a drug to treat ED is 0 since this is already in the public domain and no longer available to them.I think this may be a little deceptive of HVSF , but lets see .
