Sam Nunberg went nuts on tv today. Too bad I didn't see it live.

Nunberg is the guy who tried to explain the Constitution to the Child President but gave up when the POTUS was unable to focus.

“It Would Be Funny If They Arrested Me” – Former Trump Aide Refuses To Comply With Mueller Subpoena

Posted at 4:15 pm on March 5, 2018 by Susan Wright

Bold move.

Bold, and makes for good TV, right?

Former Trump campaign aide, Sam Nunberg, is thumping his chest, and has announced that he will defy a subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller, seeking to view his emails from the campaign.

He’s so adamant, that he says he’d be willing to risk arrest.

“I’m the first person to go out here and say I’m not cooperating, because it’s absolutely ridiculous what they want from me,” Mr. Nunberg said in a heated interview on MSNBC.

He said that special counsel Robert Mueller requested every email between him and several former campaign aides including Steve Bannon, Hope Hicks, Paul Manafort, and Roger Stone.

Nunberg is apparently of the same, stellar stock as others employed by the Trump team – big on bombast, short on commonsense.

Complaining that it would take him “50 hours” to comb through all of the emails, he’s putting his foot down.

(Actually in three different interview, he kept increasing the time it would take him to go through his emails and got up to 80 hours at the last one. )

He may want to consult with Flynn, Gates, or Manafort, as all three have suffered financial hardships and loss of freedom, as a result of the ongoing Russia probe.

Of course, the difference is, Nunberg hasn’t really been charged with anything, so he’s got that going for him.

Then again, as it is with others, his words and actions may be why he’s being subpoenaed to begin with.

“I think it would be funny if they arrested me,” he said.

You’re an idiot.

He’s been asked to appear before the grand jury on Friday, but claims he’ll skip that, as well.

Nunberg is also talking to other former Trump aides. Specifically, he’s been talking to Steve Bannon, recently.

Saying he spoke with Bannon for the first time since the campaign last week, he said that they both agreed that Trump was probably guilty of “something” during the campaign, but they couldn’t be sure.

“We both feel like, I’m telling you, that Trump may have very well done something during the election. I don’t know what it is. I could be wrong by the way,” he said.

Gee… I wonder why Mueller wants to speak with you?

Nunberg further stated that he’d go on Bloomberg TV and would burn the subpoena, publicly.

It’s a foolish move, and it’s one that could likely bite him hard.

And he’d deserve it.

That being said, he makes for an interesting interview.
