Peter, unknown? Forgot about that one. You are correct that they don't have to file a 144 once the S-3 is effective, but is it? The filing on Edgar is preliminary; there's no effective date. I think, once it's effective, Edgar would show the "effective" filing.

BTW, the S-3 did imply that they could sell prior to the "effective date" under 144, but that would apply only to Softbank since the new shares issued to GeoCities have not been held for a year.

In any case, I guess we don't know who it was. I thought you were saying it was GeoCities because of the next post you made after the one about the insider sale.

PS: Re "Motorolla probably came in with what was expected", .65 vs .68 (or even vs. the .66 to .68 suggested by an Invesco fund manager on CNBC right after the close today) looks like a shortfall to me. Wonder when they are having their conf call? Don't want to listen, but the reaction depends a lot on what is said as you know.
