It appears that one of the CCB stooges or their rube investors has created an alternate account "Phillipe"

I say this optimsitically because I refuse to believe there can be so much stupid/FASD in the world.

And I quote

"I'm not a lawyer, but I believe one could certainly argue that the social acceptability of the project was influenced by the actions of SOS GSLR, and the materials posted by them.

Was the muncipality (i.e. council) influenced by environmentalists? I don't know, but if you have the leaders of the protest group go on to become members of council, and within a month of being elected, they nix the mine, then one might say that council decisions were influenced by environmentalists."

Does Phillipe have autism? Or is he a tragic example of someone who never got a real education because he thought it was ok to be a graphite miner?

Some basic reasoning in response, that even an Grade 3 with a few missing chromosones could figure out

1) " I believe one could certainly argue that the social acceptability of the project was influenced by the actions of SOS GSLR, and the materials posted by them"

Obviously the mine wasn't socially acceptable prior to SOS GSLR. There wasn't a single moment in history where the residents of GSLR, beyond some general labourer mouthbreathers with no real employability, ever supported the mine or considered it a desirable project.

The *second* people got wind of an open pit mine going in next to them (the Scotch Road residents), they were opposed to it. Why? Because they never asked for a mine, don't give two shits about 50 jobs for lowlives, and certainly don't consider CCB - a long con at best - of being an economic driver for the area. From the get go, the response from the residents "no mines here, and certainly not next to us. Please play again. We're passing on this idea and don't care to hear all the BS lines about how China will buy Miller graphite and our grandchildren will benefit from the profits".

SOS GSLR is a symptom of lacking social acceptability, not a cause. Once Philippe learns to swallow his own drool, maybe he'll understand how that works.

2) " if you have the leaders of the protest group go on to become members of council, and within a month of being elected, they nix the mine, then one might say that council decisions were influenced by environmentalists."

Is this guy even able to wipe himself? "The people who ran for council did so on an anti-mine ticket. Then the anti-mine people got elected to council purely on their opposition to the mine. And what's the first thing they do? They nix the mine. Clearly they council (made up of anti mine people) have been influenced by anti-mine people"

Well....ya, genius!. They literally ran on a "elect us to council so we can nix the mine" ticket.

What did you expect they would do?

"Clearly the town council has been influenced by.....the town council"
