The people who leave small towns in tatters are the prostitutes who think that every job for the high school-educated coverall-wearing Jerry Springer class is a good one and that a city should sell out to whatever wannabe pimp comes to town offering them some sugar. It's easy to dupe the desperate and stupid into thinking that operating heavy machinery at some shit quarry for a living is good for the local economy, instead of what it really is, a disgrace upon their family dead and living with 0 benefit to anyone with even a shred of dignity or sense of accomplishment. But I guess people like you would argue that every garden gives purpose to manure, so every factory and mine gives purpose to the human equivalent GSLR is about as rural, gun-lovin, redneck and sparsely populated as backwoods Alabama. No SJWs there, just people who are anti-development and would prefer to live poor than as poor whores. They can already afford gas to drive their ATV's to their moose blinds so they aren't easily sold by some tubby sleazeball from BC coming in with big promises, or the unworldly senile losers that have invested their pittance net worth in him.
