This is exactly the route that I took. Neurostock gave me a taste for what could be done with neural nets, but its ease of use can become constrictive after a while.
If you are knowledgable with TA you will find NS Trader a great addition to your analysis arsenal. I have tested stocks like Intel, Cisco and a few other techs with NS Trader and have come up with some really good nets. I found that the 6 Day Stochastics, 4 Day Momentum, and 6 Day Bollinger Band %B could make a net robust enough to come in with a .75 correlation to the predicted output. They have remained profitable a year after the net was trained, and worked consistantly. I just need to work on some intermarket inputs and fine tune my trading strategy, and I am going to begin trading the INTC model. If you have the money try the NS Trader package. You won't be dissappointed. Optim |
