So now you can call me a Democrat

You don't need to be a D to believe in the hooey. I am a chemical engineer so know a bit about thermodynamics, etc. The levels of CO2 presently in the atmosphere are way too low to result in the cataclysmic phenomena predicted. Besides it just doesn't pass any common sense test. If you've ever worked with an IR spectrometer that wasn't purged you would see massive absorption throughout the IR spectrum due to water vapor and a little bump due to CO2.

I've lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years and in the time the sea level hasn't moved squat. Over the past 10k years it has gone up about 350' so why isn't all this warming keeping up that trend?
