I propose a toast! This is another victory for MSFT. The award to Sun is a sop as well as making the most sense for developers. I am sure MSFT will have a Java program that will work just fine. CE is the camel's nose under the tent. With the system geared toward WindowaLite it will be quite easy to use the cpuMonitor as a TV devicewith the right board supplied by some upstart 3rd party. The beauty of it is all must now organize the data to suit the CE metaphor.

It is not the box but rather the de facto standard that counts.Of course in a few years time Sun will be appealing to DOJ.
